Storm Damage – Merrimack Gymnasium

Storm damage to this Merrimack gymnasium left standing water and debris covering the floor. The water remained on the floor long enough to allow seepage to the underflooring structure. Bringing in SERVPRO of Merrimack quickly allowed us to restore the majority of the floor, but some sections needed to be pulled up and dried individually before reassembling. We spent extra care with the more severely damaged sections assuring that the underlying plywood was thoroughly dried. Moisture content was constantly monitored with SERVPRO’s high tech moisture monitoring devices and infrared cameras. This monitoring served two purposes. The first was to know when areas were dry and the second was to document the process for insurance purposes.
